Hi, my name is
Nalin Gupta
I love startups & deep tech.
I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Y Combinator program, experience a successful startup exit, and be recognized in the Forbes 30Under30 list.
About Me
My journey began in India, where I graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a degree in Electronics engineering. After that, I co-founded Auro Robotics along with my college friends to develop self-driving cars. Soon we reached a saturation point in terms of growth opportunities for such a deep-tech company in India.
So in 2015, I took a one-way flight to the US on a tourist visa and came to the Silicon Valley. That company eventually went through the Y Combinator program, raised venture funding, and got acquired by Ridecell.
I am now based in the San Francisco bay area, where I enjoy working with startups and bold thinkers on world-changing ideas.
My Geeky Passions

- Robotics (Humanoid robots, drones, artificial muscles, nanobots, bio-mimicking robots)
- Brain-computer interfacing (brain imaging, brain-AI interface, thought-controlled machines)
- Biohacking (gene editing, age reversal, cloning, synthetic limbs, bio-digital interface)
- Energy (new battery tech, micro nuclear reactors, nuclear fusion, efficient solar cells)
- Next-era computing (Quantum computing, photonics, brain-inspired AI chips, analog computing)
- Space Tech (satellites, faster inter-planetary travel, colonizing planets, AI piloted jets)
